STAKEHOLDERS ENGAGEMENT

A series of stakeholder engagements took place at KADGIS today, one of which is about the identification of boundaries between Bomo community in Basawa District of Sabon Gari LGA and the Institute for Agricultural Research (IAR),Ahmadu Bello University Zaria to address issue of encroachment which has gone on for a long period.

The land belonging to IAR which is now split into 2 due to the Construction of Zaria-Funtua road is to be beaconed on both sides and titles to be issued while a boundary will be set to prevent future encroachments by neighbouring communities.

The meeting had in attendance Traditional rulers from Bomo and Basawa District, representatives of IAR as well as from Sabon Gari LGA.

The meeting concluded with commendation to KADGIS over it’s efforts at unraveling similar and other cases within the State as part of the current administration’s resolve to bring lasting solutions to all land related issues in Kaduna State
